Kanti RPS Memorial Trust was founded by Mr. Shailendra Sharma in the year 2018. It was setup to commemorate the memory of his father Late Shri Rajendra Prasad with an objective to give shape to his vision and noble thoughts.
Late Shri Rajendra Prasad, a philanthropist, a dedicated and inspiring personality, upholding high principles of courteousness and service to the society. He was a man of simple living and always motivated the younger generation to work for the benefit of humanity infusing them with thoughts of nationality and service to mankind.
Late Shri Rajendra Prasad was born in the year 1945 to a Brahmin family. He completed MSc in Mathematics at Bangalore. His father Pandit Jyoti Swarup, former Police Officer started Kanti Sweet Meat Stall at KG circle, Bangalore in the year 1957. He named the store after his brother Kanti Swarup to whom he was very close.
After his father's demise in 1973, Rajendra Prasad's dream of a career in teaching was cut short as he decided to take up the family business.

We are very happy to state that our Trust got following registrations under Income tax Act and Companies Act to carryout charitable activities which will become a great help to public.
a) Our activities are recognised by the Government and got the Income tax registration u/s 12A of Income Tax Act 1961 with validity 3 years and renewable thereafter. Here we are allowed to use the funds of the Trust for charitable cause with certain limitations where Trust can claim income tax exemption. The Unique Registration number allotted to us is AADTK5052HE20221.
b) Further we are happy to state that we have got 80G registration under Income Tax Act 1961 where our Trust can receive donations from any resident (Indian) which can be claimed as deduction from his taxable income as per norms set under Income tax regulations. The Unique Registration number allotted to us is AADTK5052HF20231.
c) CSR Compliant: A best way to do any charitable activity is to become CSR registered entity. We herewith proudly announce that our Trust got CSR Registration under Companies Act 2013 and we are eligible to conduct any CSR activity approved by the government as enunciated under schedule-VII of companies Act 2013.
